Any aspiring screenwriter that has done their homework knows how crucial the 1st 10 minutes of a movie are. These 10 minutes translate roughly to the 1st 10 pages of the script or half of Act One, and if the writer hasn’t conveyed a premise and character(s) that will keep an audience in their seats by then, chances are that movie won’t get made.
